Your workspace¶
After you sign in, Colleag opens the workspace. This is where you spend almost all of your time: everything else in the product is a setting or a panel that opens on top of it.
The first time you arrive¶
If your organisation has not been set up yet, you are met by company onboarding — a short guided conversation that fills in who you are, what you make and which markets you sell to. It is worth doing properly. Every agent reads this profile before answering, so five minutes here saves you correcting the same misunderstanding a hundred times later.
You can skip it. If you do, a thin banner appears above the workspace saying Complete your company setup for better AI recommendations with a Set up now link. It stays until the profile is filled in, and you can Dismiss it.
If your organisation is set up but you have no products yet, you get a welcome screen instead:
Welcome to Colleag.ai — Select a product or business discipline from the sidebar, or create a new product.
The three columns¶
Once you pick a product or a business discipline, the workspace settles into its normal shape.
| Area | What lives there |
|---|---|
| Top bar | The Colleag.ai wordmark, the selected product and its phase, your credit balance, the Document Workspace toggle, Settings, and your avatar menu. |
| Left sidebar | The four business areas, the product picker, the list of agents, draft and review counters, and your conversation history. |
| Main area | The chat with the currently selected agent. When you open a document, the canvas slides in beside it and the chat narrows. |
The top bar¶
- Product name and phase. The coloured pill next to the product name shows its phase: Draft, Active, Review or Done. Click it to move the product to the next phase, or to delete it.
- Credits. How many credits your organisation has left. It turns amber below 15% of what was granted and red below 5%.
- Document Workspace. Opens and closes the canvas beside the chat.
- Settings. Takes you to the settings area.
- Avatar. Your email, a link to settings, the User Manual and Sign out.
The main area¶
The chat panel is the centre of Colleag. Its header tells you who you are talking to — for example Hardware agent or Roundtable — and holds the blue Publish button plus a ⋯ menu with Execution plan and agent settings.
At the bottom sits the composer. Two pickers sit inside it:
- a coloured pill that selects which agent answers — any discipline in the current area, or ● Roundtable (all);
- a model picker showing each model's credit multiplier, for example
(1x)or(3x).
When an agent writes to a document, the canvas opens automatically on the right and shows you what changed.
Your place is remembered
Colleag remembers the product, area, agent and conversation you had open, per business area. Close the tab, come back tomorrow, and you land exactly where you left off.
